Cape Business Centre is a prestigious business hub located in the heart of Cape Town's V&A Waterfront Harbour.

As a highly motivated and organised Business Centre Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our business hub.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent client relationship abilities, and a passion for driving new business opportunities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management & Coordination: Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, address their needs, and ensure the smooth running of the centre's operations.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to attract new clients and maintain a high occupancy rate for the business centre. Develop and implement strategies for growth and expansion.
  • Booking & Scheduling: Manage client bookings for office space, meeting rooms, and conferencing facilities. Ensure that bookings are accurately recorded and clients' needs are met.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the operations of the business centre, ensuring the premises are maintained to a high standard. Coordinate with support staff to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
  • Represent the Business Centre: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and vendors. Maintain the business centre's professional image and reputation.
  • Financial & Administrative Duties: Monitor and report on financial performance, billing, and administrative functions related to the centre's operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in business centre management, hospitality, or a client-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive for business development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in sales or business development would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the local business landscape and market trends would be beneficial.
