Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Insurance Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering cost-effective managed healthcare services to achieve member satisfaction.

Your primary focus will be on client relations, assisting clients by approving appropriate funding and delivering an effective call centre service to achieve member satisfaction.

You will also be responsible for risk management, reducing the risk associated with hospital and authorized cases, as well as telephone etiquette, answering telephone calls in a way that achieves member satisfaction.

Additionally, you will verify prosthesis limits to contain costs for both members and fund, and participate in ongoing training and development to update your knowledge and skills in order to deliver a cost-effective and professional service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with at least 5 years of experience as a nursing practitioner and 1 year of experience gained in the medical funding industry.
