Medical Aid Administration Manager

This Administrative Healthcare Coordinator position at SCC Soft Computer requires an organized individual to manage administrative tasks, provide client support, and contribute to departmental objectives.
Key Accountabilities- Manage the administrative process for new medical aid applications, ensuring timely updates and responses to clients.
- Oversee membership card procurement and distribution to ensure prompt arrival at clients' premises.
- Coordinate gap cover functionalities, including application processing, policy issuance, and claim resolution.
- Support management and brokers as required.
- Identify new business opportunities within the client portfolio to enhance departmental growth.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Undertake additional administrative responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare administration, specifically focusing on Medical Aid, Medical Insurance, and Gap Cover.
- Successful completion of the RE examination.
- Possession of full qualification (NQF5).
- Council for Medical Schemes accreditation.
- Licenses: Continuous Professional Development and Class of Business in Short Term Personal Lines, Health Benefits, and Life license.
- Bilingualism is beneficial.
- Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Detailed administrative expertise.
- Skilled time management and email management abilities.
- MS Office familiarity, particularly Excel.
- Capacity to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and achieve results.
- Able to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
