What You Will Be Doing:
As the IT Applications Manager, you will be responsible for establishing efficient ITIL systems and processes to enhance the shared services model. This will involve designing and implementing clear policies, procedures, and governance frameworks for streamlined IT operations. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining user-friendly shared service applications, such as Service Desk, HR, and Finance systems. Additionally, you will foster positive relationships with third-party vendors and ensure smooth system integrations. Your role will also involve leading the design and delivery of essential shared services applications, collaborating on procurement, innovation, and ongoing system improvement efforts, and providing hands-on support for user administration, configuration, and system maintenance. You will also generate insightful reports and manage software licenses effectively, drive strategic IS projects, and oversee the software development life cycle. Finally, you will uphold strong data governance, GITC audit compliance, cybersecurity practices, and optimise application performance for enhanced user experiences.

What You Need:
To be successful in this role, you will need a tertiary degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with an ITIL Certification. You will also need proven experience in application management, preferably in shared services, familiarity with Agile project management methodologies, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, customer-oriented with a focus on service excellence, and experience in managing organisational change related to IT systems. Results-driven, accountable, and adept at managing multiple assignments effectively are also essential qualities for this role.
