Senior Bookkeeper/Accounts Manager Position at Dante Group Pty Ltd

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including debtors, creditors, payroll, and cash management.
  • Ensure the maintenance of daily bank statements and recon of customer deposits to reconcile all discrepancies.
  • Capture receipts in the Cash Book and balance entries with deposits received to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
  • Process credit invoices as per remittance advice and post payments in the Cash Book, vendor accounts, and general ledger for seamless financial integration.
  • Manage petty cash and oversee GRN'd Creditors invoices in Accounts payable for efficient financial operations.
  • E-Filing information to SARS and make payment, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Process journals for VAT to be claimed on fleet account/depreciation of assets and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and handle salary-related duties and reports, including EMP201 calculations and MIBCO payments.
  • Balanace suspense accounts and prepare schedules of outstanding amounts, and compile WCA returns to be submitted to the Workman's Compensation Commissioner.
  • Process journals prepared by auditors at month end and prepare Audit Files for Auditors on reconciliations done.
