Job Description

We are seeking a talented Creative Content Developer to join our team at Initiate International in Cape Town.

Your primary responsibility will be to craft compelling, engaging content for the iGaming industry. This includes writing eye-catching social media posts, drafting email campaigns, and creating website content that informs, excites, and captivates players.

Main Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Write high-quality copy for various channels, including websites, social media, email, and in-game promotions.
  • Content Review: Review and refine content to ensure it's polished, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Brand Voice Consistency: Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms, ensuring every piece of content speaks to the iGaming audience.
  • Content Strategy: Assist in creating and implementing content strategies that support marketing campaigns and drive engagement.
  • SEO Best Practices: Conduct basic research and apply SEO best practices to optimize content for visibility and engagement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 1+ year of experience in copywriting (internships or freelance work count), ideally with some exposure to digital marketing or iGaming.
  • The ability to adapt tone and style to different formats, from short social posts to longer articles.
  • Strong grammar and proofreading skills, with an eye for consistency and quality.
  • A willingness to learn, grow, and collaborate with team members to create outstanding content.
  • Bonus: Basic understanding of SEO is a plus, with an eagerness to learn more.
About the Role
