Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Beauty Assistant to join our team in Randburg. As a key member of our beauty department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling beauty products, and maintaining a high standard of store presentation.

About the Role:

  1. Provide professional and knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products to customers.
  2. Drive sales of the beauty department through effective promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling.
  3. Maintain updated knowledge on all beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events.
  4. Execute operational activities within the beauty department, including stock management, minimising shrinkage, and general housekeeping.
  5. Ensure all in-store visual merchandising, presentation, and promotional standards within the beauty department are consistently met.
  6. Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador.
  7. Promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.

Requirements:

  1. Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
  2. Relevant beauty/skincare qualification or experience preferred.
  3. Previous experience in a retail/FMCG environment, preferably in sales or marketing.

Key Skills:

  • Selling principles and retail/FMCG background.
  • Stock management procedures and customer service excellence.
  • Knowledge of beauty and skincare products, results-driven, and strong customer orientation.
