Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Principal to join our team at SPARK Midrand High. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving academic excellence, leading a positive school culture, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of academic programs and policies to drive scholar achievement
  • Provide coaching and professional development to school staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Collaborate with the Principal and other school leaders to ensure a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Work with the school community to develop and implement strategies to improve scholar engagement and achievement
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in education and implement innovative solutions to drive improved outcomes
Requirements
  • English language fluency
  • Completed B.Ed or PGCE degree (SP & FET)
  • Familiarity with high school Matric requirements including Senior and FET phase CAPs curricula
  • SACE registration
  • A clear/clean criminal record
  • Completed at least 3-4 years of excellent classroom instruction in intermediate, senior or FET phase
  • Held a leadership role in primary school or high school
