The successful candidate will have a strong background in general handyman work, including electrical repairs, painting, welding, grinding, and furniture maintenance. You will also be tasked with high-access cleaning and pod maintenance, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and functional.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various maintenance and repair tasks at branches and pods.
  • Conduct general electrical repairs as needed.
  • Handle various painting tasks, ensuring a neat and professional finish.
  • Perform welding tasks as required.
  • Carry out grinding functions with precision.
  • Perform touch-ups and repairs on concrete walls.
  • Maintain and repair furniture to ensure it is in good condition.
  • Repair or replace door hinges and door handles.
  • Clean and maintain high access areas, including walls, wall-mounted posters, lights, pillars, cameras, speakers, TVs, and windows.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of pods, both interior and exterior. Sweep and maintain paving areas around pods.
  • Report daily to the regional or national facilities manager on tasks done, tasks that cannot be done by you, or anything else that might be out of the ordinary regarding work, security risks, or health and safety risks at branches.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Experience in the same/similar role is advantageous
  • Valid drivers License
