Job Description

The Program Quality Leader represents the customer's voice within the company, ensuring a seamless interface with customers and internal stakeholders on quality matters. The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Quality Objectives and Planning
    • Identify initial program quality objectives and develop a quality management plan.
    • Establish a regular follow-up process to ensure objectives are met.
  • Quality Achievement and Monitoring
    • Achieve quality objectives, including safety and regulation, environmental, and perceived quality.
    • Monitor objectives achievement through risk assessment and follow-up.
  • Authority and Decision-Making
    • Have the authority to stop any process or product delivery in case of serious non-conformance.
  • Design and Production Validation
    • Approve the design validation plan and production validation test established by engineering.
    • Ensure completion according to program milestones.
  • Measurement and Testing
    • Lead the development and production process for measurement, checking, and testing fixtures and gauges.
  • Control Plans and Conformity
    • Define control plans.
    • Ensure conformity, perceived quality, and traceability of parts delivered to customers throughout development phases.
  • PPA Files and Customer Relations
    • Prepare and compile PPA files.
    • Support the plant quality engineer for submission of initial samples, including process validation audit.
    • Lead the relation with customer program quality.
  • Program Management System and Engineering Change Management
    • Apply program management system and engineering change management and Faurecia tools and standards.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education
    • Masters degree in engineering.
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years of proven experience in the automotive industry.
  • Skills
    • In-depth knowledge of quality engineering techniques.
    • Trained in program management system.
    • Customer relationship skills.
    • Above-average communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • International mindset.
    • Minimum bi-lingual (English required).
