Job Description
The role of an Advanced Supplier Quality (ASQ) Engineer at SEGULA Technologies is to ensure the successful execution of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process. Key responsibilities include:
- Deploying APQP related to the development phase or current production of Bought-Out Parts, adhering to the company's purchasing requirements.
- Collaborating with commodity buyers to assess suppliers and complete the global panel evaluation.
- Providing recommendations and technical decisions to ensure a defect-free process through program management.
- Managing progress plans with low-performance suppliers in collaboration with commodity buyers.
- Coordinating process qualification, including trial runs and process audits, with plant Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineers and program quality engineers.
- Monitoring APQP progress and reporting status, making decisions in collaboration with the program team.
- Training suppliers and ensuring they apply defined standards.
- Monitoring Production Part Approval before transfer to the plant and handing over to plant SQA Engineers.
- Managing action plans with suppliers in case of deviations.
- Conducting supplier panel assessments in accordance with commodity and process responsibilities.
Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering with a specialization in Quality.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an ASQ in an industrial environment.
- Results-oriented individual.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization.
- International mindset, with overseas experience a plus.
