Job Title: Payroll Manager - Salary Administration Specialist
\About the Role:
\We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at Marcopolo South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering salaries and ensuring that all payroll operations run smoothly.
\Key Responsibilities:
\- Process new employees and terminations, including loading and terminating employees on the MIBCO online returns.
- Load and process commission/job title changes to correspond with SAGE 300 People.
- Calculate leave pay outs upon terminations and manage accumulated leave days for each employee.
- Change and update banking details, as well as processing tax numbers and tax directives.
- Load and import all earnings and deductions, including commission, allowances, incentives, bonuses, and increases, as well as advances, loans, perks tax, medical aids, pension/provident funds, and standard bank home loans.
- Liaise with medical aids and pension/provident funds, and check tax validation reports before confirming pay runs.
- Process all billings and ensure that all reports reach financial managers on time.
- Assist auditors with required information and respond to pay queries and feedback from financial managers/accountants.
Requirements:
\- 3 years experience as a payroll administrator/officer.
- Advanced computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in HR administration support and payroll processing, with a strong understanding of payroll operations.
- Essential experience with Sage 300 people system.
Salary: R550,000 - R650,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
