Position Overview

IT Ridge Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compensation and Benefits Specialist to manage precise and timely payroll operations. The successful candidate will be adept at adhering to deadlines for both monthly and annual reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee complete payroll operations
  • Manage applications for Tax Directives
  • Prepare Statutory returns including PAYE, UIF & SDL
  • Conduct IRP 501 reconciliations and year-end processes using the Easyfile system
  • Address employee inquiries
  • Administer garnishees and maintenance orders
  • Oversee the administration of medical aid, provident, and funeral funds
  • Ensure compliance with statutory payments – returns and payments
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of employee information regarding hiring, separations, transfers, and promotions
  • Reconcile medical aid, provident, MIBCO, and other third-party payments
  • Enhance client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Accounting/HR or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience is essential
  • Certification in Sage 300
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of Labour Relations legislation, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and SARS – PAYE
