Job Description:

At Hire Resolve, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Operations Manager to join our team in Cape Town. This key role involves overseeing high-level operational processes, HR functions, and technical responsibilities to ensure the organization's operations and procedures align with its strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures aligned with the company's culture and vision.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing processes.
  • Identify and address business challenges and opportunities for growth.
  • Foster effective communication between workers and management, building forward strategies from constructive feedback.
  • Establish governance processes to achieve objectives, manage risks, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Lead and support business compliance and risk management programs.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, focusing on customer satisfaction.
  • Drive a performance-driven culture by leading and managing teams effectively.
  • Champion transformation initiatives aligned with inclusion and business requirements.
  • Provide technical support for UPS systems and battery technologies, including configuration, troubleshooting, and system understanding.
  • Assist sales teams by addressing customer technical inquiries and specifications for UPS and battery solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Certifications related to UPS systems (e.g., Certified UPS Technician, electrical safety certifications) are advantageous.
  • 5 years of experience with UPS systems and batteries.
  • 2-5 years of team leadership experience.
  • 2-3 years of project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of UPS technologies, including online, offline, and line-interactive systems.
  • Familiarity with UPS and battery configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to manage people and processes, with a track record of delivering results through others.
  • Technical expertise, business acumen, and industry knowledge.
