Job Overview

RMG Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly organized and experienced Creditors' Clerk / Branch Administrator to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring seamless communication with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Match, batch, and forward invoices to the Johannesburg branch in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit BBBEE schedules on a monthly basis, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and reconcile petty cash and credit card statements using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Process remittances of payments to suppliers in accordance with established procedures.
  • Verify and process creditors' invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in preparing credit applications and vendor documentation as required.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of creditors' accounts across all branch divisions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three years' experience in debtors' and creditors' roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Maintenance of a clear credit record and adherence to company policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Possession of a BCom degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Matric certificate, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
