Matched Business Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Sandton. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in managing the human resources for our Canteen division.

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences and driving business growth. You will be responsible for leading various aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, policy development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR data management.

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, empathy, and adaptability. You must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities, think critically, and develop practical solutions to complex workplace issues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection. Oversee the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
  2. Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries and concerns. Promote communication and foster a positive work environment.
  3. Policy Development and Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain company HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  4. Performance Management: Coordinate performance appraisal systems and provide guidance to managers. Assist in identifying training needs and opportunities for professional growth.
  5. Compensation and Benefits: Manage payroll, employee benefits, and other compensation-related processes. Benchmark roles and salaries to maintain competitive standards.
  6. HR Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems. Generate reports and analyse HR metrics to guide strategic decisions.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of R550,000 - R650,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. This role requires a mature individual who is willing to work Monday to Saturday (6 days a week), with occasional Sundays and holidays. Post-based in Sandton, with travel required.
