Job Overview

Position Summary
The position entails designing, pricing, and organizing travel itineraries to southern Africa for clients through international partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess client preferences, requirements, and financial constraints
  • Deliver prompt quotations for all requested travel services
  • Secure reservations for all client-related services
  • Address written inquiries and dispatch written confirmations
  • Enter reservations into Tourplan system
  • Verify services with suppliers
  • Maintain consistent communication with partners regarding reservation updates, payment schedules, deadlines, and conditions
  • Coordinate Meet and Greet services when required
  • Maintain contact with tour guides throughout the travel experience
  • Manage client grievances and emergencies
  • Ensure ongoing communication with partners

Qualifications and Experience

  • Completed Matric / Grade 12
  • Preferably possess a qualification in Travel & Tourism
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in FIT-Tailor Making Tour consulting within the tourism sector
  • Familiarity with Tourplan software is a plus

Competencies

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
  • Comprehension of customer needs and travel products
  • Negotiation skills with suppliers for availability and pricing
  • In-depth knowledge of the tourism sector
  • Strong understanding of South African geography
  • Expertise in Touring Logistics
