About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of the travel industry and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and design itineraries for inbound tours
  • Manage the reservations process to ensure guest budgets are achieved
  • Handle bookings from quote to finalizing, invoicing, and travel documents
  • Communicate effectively with agents, sales teams, preferred supplier partners, and colleagues
  • Work on a rotational basis, including early and late shifts
  • Provide exceptional service to agents and guests
  • Proactively sell products and services to ensure the best possible safari experience for guests
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of previous inbound tour consulting experience
  • Tourplan advantageous
  • Good understanding of terms and conditions, product knowledge, third-party destinations
  • Understanding of travel industry channels
  • Passion for delivering service excellence
  • Good knowledge of South Africa, Southern, and East Africa
