Executive Placings is seeking an experienced Retail Travel Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and delivering high-quality travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and plan customized itineraries for clients, taking into account their preferences and budget.
  • Manage the reservations process, ensuring that all bookings are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Handle bookings from quote to finalizing, invoicing, and travel document preparation.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with agents, sales teams, preferred supplier partners, and colleagues.
  • Participate in emergency duty on a rotational basis and work flexible hours, including early and late shifts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inbound tour consulting.
  • Knowledge of tour planning, WETU, and travel industry channels.
  • Understanding of terms and conditions, product knowledge, and third-party destinations.
  • Passion for delivering service excellence and a good knowledge of South Africa, Southern, and East Africa.
