Isilumko Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales and marketing team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing plan, aligning marketing strategies with regional objectives, and presenting plans to the management team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Sales and Marketing Plan: Create a comprehensive sales and marketing plan that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Align Marketing Strategies with Regional Objectives: Ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with regional objectives and present plans to the management team.
- Review and Update Strategic Plan: Regularly review and update the strategic plan to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
- Communicate and Execute Strategic Plan: Effectively communicate and ensure the execution of the strategic plan by sales representatives.
- Promote and Market Representative Positions: Promote and market representative positions through presentations.
- Select Qualified Candidates: Select qualified candidates in accordance with FSCA requirements and assessment selection methods.
- Conduct Pre-Course and Post-Course Training: Conduct pre-course and post-course training for sales representatives.
- Provide On-the-Job Assessment: Provide on-the-job assessment for representatives to support their growth.
- Offer Technical Support and Motivation: Offer technical support and motivation to representatives.
- Coach Representatives: Coach representatives to enhance their selling skills and implement a performance management system.
- Identify, Penetrate, and Develop New Markets: Identify, penetrate, and develop new markets.
- Negotiate Stop Order Markets: Negotiate stop order markets.
- Maintain Relationships with Key Decision-Makers: Maintain relationships with key decision-makers and insurance industry resources.
- Retain and Expand Market Share: Retain and expand market share in existing markets.
- Deliver Compelling Product Presentations: Deliver compelling product presentations in the market.
- Monitor and Ensure Production Targets: Monitor and ensure that set production targets are met.
- Maintain Business Retention: Focus on maintaining business retention.
- Supervise Representatives: Supervise representatives providing services under supervision.
- Submit Monthly Evidence: Submit monthly evidence of supervision to MSSI.
- Mentor and Train Supervisees: Mentor and train supervisees to ensure a strong understanding of our products.
- Observe Meetings: Observe meetings between representatives and clients.
- Manage and Resolve Complaints: Manage and resolve complaints and maintain accurate records.
- Provide Refresher Training: Provide refresher training.
- Conduct New Product Training: Conduct new product training.
- Ensure Adherence to Regulatory Requirements: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as Record of Advice and Financial Needs Analysis.
- Accurately Complete Application Forms: Accurately complete application forms.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Matric or Equivalent: Matric or equivalent.
- Relevant Qualification: Relevant qualification recognized by the FSCA.
- Technical/Legal Certification: Technical/Legal Certification: Regulatory Examination Level 5 (Representatives), Regulatory Examination Level 1 (Key Individuals), Class of Business (Long Term Insurance and Investments, depending on the date of appointment as a Key Individual in the industry), CPD.
Experience:
- Management and Oversight Experience: At least 1 year of management and oversight experience in relevant categories.
- Project Management Experience: 2 years of Project Management experience.
- Insurance Industry Experience: 2 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Advice and Intermediary Experience: At least 1 year of advice and intermediary experience in relevant categories.
