This position requires extensive travel in the beginning to support business setup, financial integration, and operational alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial due diligence, valuation assessments, and integration planning for acquisitions, ensuring a smooth transition by managing financial data migration and operational alignment.
  • Deliver insightful monthly financial reports, including exception reporting, trend analysis, and commentary, using advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP as an ERP system.
  • Conduct benchmarking, investment evaluations, and financial modeling to optimize performance, leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills to assess financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Develop dynamic reports and dashboards (Power BI preferred) to aid decision-making, enhancing stakeholder engagement to drive financial transparency and accountability.
  • Oversee master data accuracy, purchase order processing, and capex management, ensuring adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • CA(SA) qualification, non-negotiable.
  • 5 years of post-articles experience in a commercial finance environment, with proven experience in acquisitions, onboarding, and seamless transitions within the retail and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with SAP as an ERP system, mandatory.
  • Power BI experience advantageous.
