We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Innovations Lead to oversee our culinary operations across all restaurant locations at HR Supreme.

Job Overview

This role will be based at the Head Office Test Kitchen in George, where you will be responsible for;

  • Advising and supporting shops across the franchise.
  • Developing new menu items and implementing efficient systems for stock management and wastage control.
  • Training shop staff on these systems and ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new menu items and specials, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Provide guidance to franchisees on daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations specific to the ZA region.
  • Create and implement systems for effective stock management and wastage control.
  • Negotiate with nationwide suppliers to source high-quality products at competitive prices.
  • Evaluate food products and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Regularly visit stores to ensure compliance with established protocols.
  • Implement and monitor food safety protocols aligned with local regulations.
  • Oversee the entire Elvis Brew menu and associated ingredients.
  • Develop and implement systems to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Manage and update online recipes and teaching platforms to reflect growth and changes.

Qualifications:

  • A creative problem-solver with strong leadership skills.
  • Experience in culinary operations and inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
  • Familiarity with current culinary trends and customer preferences in the ZA region.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR Supreme's brand vision.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong teaching and mentoring skills to effectively train and support staff.
