Solar Sales Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Sales Engineer to join our team at Network Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our solar energy sales initiatives and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to develop comprehensive solar energy solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • Provide post-sales support and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in solar energy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in solar energy sales or a related technical sales role.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, components, and installation practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BEng/BSc Eng in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., NABCEP Solar PV Certification).
  • Prior experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
