About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Sales Representative to join our client's dynamic team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our medical products to healthcare professionals and driving sales growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Candidate Engagement: Schedule and conduct meetings with potential and existing customers, including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Product Promotion: Present and promote company products to persuade customers to make purchases.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Identify customer needs and recommend the most suitable company products.
Sales & Relationship Management:
- Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through excellent after-sales service.
- Sales Negotiation: Strategically negotiate sales terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Event Participation: Arrange and participate in conferences, group events, and educational workshops for medical professionals.
Market Research & Reporting:
- Industry Insights: Regularly attend industry events, training sessions, company meetings, and briefings to stay informed about market trends and product developments.
- Competitor Analysis: Research competitors' products, pricing strategies, and market performance.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed sales reports, territory analyses, and purchase orders to management.
Compliance & Product Knowledge:
- Legislative Updates: Stay up-to-date with the latest medical legislation and clinical data to understand their impact on company sales.
- Product Portfolio: Continuously deepen your understanding of the company's product portfolio and clinical data.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Medical Office Management, Nursing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in medical sales, particularly in medical devices.

Location: Gauteng, with frequent travel to surrounding provinces.
Salary Range: R15,000 - R20,000 per month + 5% commission (target: R1,000,000). Estimated annual salary: R200,000 - R240,000 + bonus.
