Your Role at NTT DATA

The Cloud Solutions Sales Consultant is a sales professional responsible for achieving sales targets. This role focuses on pursuing and securing qualified leads identified by the Client Management team and other departments.

The Cloud Solutions Sales Consultant uncovers new opportunities within existing accounts and presents tailored solutions, value propositions, partner configurations, pricing structures, and revenue models that align with client needs.

This position involves direct interaction with clients at various levels, as well as collaboration with internal experts.

A significant portion of the role is dedicated to engaged selling or supporting the sales process alongside Client Managers. This position plays a vital role in the pre-sales process by collaborating with pre-sales architects to design optimal solutions for clients, while also fostering and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing clients, and exploring new business channels and markets.

Key Responsibilities

The Cloud Solutions Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales initiatives and achieving quotas. The key responsibilities include:

  • Formulating and implementing strategic sales plans to attract new cloud customers.
  • Identifying and qualifying leads, converting them into loyal clients.
  • Delivering persuasive sales presentations that highlight the advantages of our cloud offerings.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to understand customer requirements and develop customized cloud solutions.
  • Negotiating and finalizing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the client.
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing client relationships, building trust and identifying upsell and renewal opportunities.
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and trends in the cloud industry.
  • Contributing to the design and execution of marketing initiatives to generate leads.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the cloud computing sector.
  • Demonstrated success in surpassing sales targets and achieving ambitious goals.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud computing concepts, platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and deployment models (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate strong relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A self-driven individual with a passion for technology and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
