Job Summary

PartnerUp (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to design, deploy, and maintain resilient, scalable, and cost-effective cloud native solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, as well as experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy cloud solutions that meet the needs of PartnerUp (Pty) Ltd, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions with existing infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and capabilities for microservices-based architectures.
  • Work with CI/CD tools to automate build and release processes.
  • Design and implement authentication and authorization technologies and protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Experience with scripting and provisioning tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare, Docker, and Kubernetes.
