Staff Unlimited Recruitment Pty Ltd T/A MPC Recruitment Group EC is hiring a Process Excellence Coordinator to oversee the development and implementation of quality management systems.

The successful candidate will have expertise in quality management, EH & S guidelines, and standards such as SANS 50197/1-2, SANS 1841, and SANS 17025.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating product performances against SANS 50197/1-2 standards
  • Guiding factory managers on product performance and compliance to standards
  • Maintaining a local database on products, tests, and trials conducted on materials and opposition products
  • Commissioning and setting up new lab equipment
  • Ensuring timely delivery of services for effective process control
  • Initiating corrective actions to contribute to solutions ensuring quality

Requirements include:

  • BSc Chemistry or equivalent in analytical chemistry
  • Minimum 5 years in an analytical laboratory with at least 2 years exposure to cement products and related raw materials
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Knowledge of XRF, physical testing, and wet chemistry techniques
  • Cement chemistry and manufacturing theory
  • Knowledge of ISO 17025, 9001, and 9001:2015 management systems
