The IIE's Varsity College, Pretoria Campus has a vacancy for an Academic Services Coordinator to support our students. This role plays a vital part in ensuring students receive exceptional support and guidance throughout their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on student registration and academic progression
  • Collaborate with the Admission Centre to ensure accurate curriculum information
  • Support the Senior Student Relations Specialist and campus teams in coordinating the Retention Project

Active Student Engagement and Support

  • Develop and deliver academic orientation programmes for new and returning students
  • Manage the dissemination of student-related policies and procedures
  • Attend informal meet-and-greet sessions with students to build relationships
  • Facilitate Programme Information Sessions to explain policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong planning and time management skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Professionalism, empathy, and customer service focus
  • Advanced administrative and organisational skills

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • National Diploma or Advanced Certificate (NQF Level 6)
  • Advanced Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 7) is advantageous

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience in administration and customer service
  • 1 year of operational management/project management experience
