Main Responsibilities

  1. Oversee accreditation processes, regulatory reporting, quality assurance, and institutional audits, supporting governance, accountability, and institutional performance.
  2. Maintain registration and accreditation across all regions, ensuring adherence to accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  3. Develop and implement digital Quality Assurance Management Systems (QAMS) to streamline accreditation and compliance activities.
  4. Cultivate strong relationships with regulatory bodies and stakeholders, promoting effective collaboration and mutual understanding.
  5. Prepare and submit applications and reports to regulatory bodies, fostering open communication and cooperation.

Essential Skills

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Business and Commerce or Higher Education Management.
  • At least 5 years in quality assurance or accreditation within a higher education institution.
  • Strong understanding of regional and national accreditation processes.
  • Experience conducting institutional research and benchmarking.
  • Document review and editing with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of the South African higher education landscape.
  • Project planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Critical thinking and risk assessment.
  • Stakeholder engagement and change management.
  • High-level computer literacy.
