Job Title: National HR and IR Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National HR and IR Manager to join our team at MPRTC. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading and delivering HR functions, driving positive outcomes, and ensuring legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, and labour relations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including disciplinary actions, retrenchments, and litigations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies that align with HR objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with key regulatory frameworks, including BCEA, LRA, MIBCO, CCMA, and SARS, to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
  • BCom in HR or a related field, or equivalent occupational experience.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering HR functions, demonstrating ability to drive positive outcomes.
  • Extensive experience as an HR Manager specialising in Industrial Relations, showcasing ability to handle disciplinary actions, retrenchments, and litigations effectively.
  • Experience in developing HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance, safeguarding the organization and its employees.
  • Passion for talent management, with a track record of attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent.
  • Computer literacy to effectively utilize HR technologies and tools.
  • Experience working within the automotive manufacturing environment, although not mandatory, would be highly advantageous.
