Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced electrical sales specialist to join our team in the KZN region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the electrical products industry.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed commercial targets within the specified region for the portfolio of the Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products Business Unit.
  2. Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers, as well as identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and increase market share.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, assess customer needs, and develop targeted sales strategies.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with a business qualification/degree being an added advantage.
  • At least 3-5 years work experience, with 3 years minimum in a business/sales/channel development role.
  • Previous experience working directly in or with a channel sales organization/business essential.
  • Strong understanding of the KZN Market (advantageous).

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build networks and leverage strong customer relationships. They will also be self-motivated, results-oriented, and have a strong intellectual curiosity to thrive in a fast-paced, global sales environment.
