Job Title: Facilities Management Manager

At Road Accident Fund, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of our facilities and the implementation of effective facilities management policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Review and Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policy, procedures, and processes.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Manage an effective fixed asset management system, including drafting monthly reports and submitting them to the manager.
  • Implementation of Policies and Procedures: Ensure the implementation of policy and procedure, and amend procedures where necessary.
  • Fleet Management: Manage the implementation of fleet management policy and procedures, and monitor the use of RAF fleet to ensure compliance with Acts and Regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Implement inventory management policy and ensure adherence thereof for all stock items.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regulation reports as and when required to provide progress updates and/or inform management decisions.
  • Workspace Management: Create functional, effective, and flexible working areas, and maintain a database of accurate drawings of offices.
  • Audit and Risk Management: Identify operational risks, continuously monitor opportunities and incidents, and review audit findings to develop plans and submit comments to the manager.
  • Financial Resources Management: Monitor budget spending, manage divisional cash flow, and minimize budget variance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate and manage communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders, and manage relationships with vendors, service providers, or procurement teams.
  • Contract Management: Manage all facilities-related contracts, including drafting ES and advising SCM of required facilities management contracts.
  • People Management: Ensure the sourcing, development, and retention of a high-performance team, and manage staff in the department to ensure they achieve their objectives in line with the strategic objectives of the RAF.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management related qualification.
  • Postgraduate in Facilities Management related qualification will be advantageous.
  • Drivers Licence.
  • Relevant 6-8 years' experience in Facilities management environment of which 2 years must have been on supervisory level/area of expertise/management level.
