Job Title: Artisan (Facilities Management) (3-year FTC)

We are seeking a skilled Artisan (Facilities Management) to join our team at Staff Solutions Recruitment. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and active maintenance for our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical support and maintenance services for our properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet market requirements.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct property and bulk infrastructure inspections to identify maintenance requirements, prepare cost estimates, and undertake maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Supervision: Supervise service providers contracted to undertake property and bulk infrastructure maintenance tasks, ensuring completion reports are signed off.
  • Procurement: Utilize our organization's IT systems to request procurement of goods and services for maintenance activities, verifying service provider invoices in accordance with organizational requirements.
  • Communication: Confirm key decisions and instructions regarding property maintenance in writing with supervisors and service providers, providing tenants with information about company property maintenance services.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: NQF Level 6 with no experience (less than 1 year) (plumbing and electrical); OR NQF Level 5 with 1-2 years relevant experience OR Certified Skill/Trade
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role.
