Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Process Relief Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional results while upholding our values centered around safety, integrity, courage, and making smart decisions with speed.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Take ownership of shift handovers and ensure smooth operations.
  2. Operate process equipment in accordance with established best practices.
  3. Complete section-specific tasks as planned and prioritize work effectively.
  4. Provide relief for operators and fulfill assigned duties efficiently.
  5. Collaborate with the Foreman during breakdowns and supervise production activities.
  6. Accurately record incidents in the shift logbook.
  7. Report breakdowns and faulty equipment to the Foreman promptly.
  8. Maintain adherence to and ensure compliance with all SHEQ requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Matriculation with Mathematics and Science or N3 Pulp and Paper qualifications.
  2. National Diploma in Pulp and Paper or Chemical Engineering.
  3. Minimum of 6 months experience as a Temporary Reliever or Production Intern in the Pulp and Paper industry.
