Job Description:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide vital support to attorneys in our dynamic law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation is essential for success in this role.
  • Liaising with clients, managing directors' diaries, and arranging travel will be your key responsibilities.
  • You will also be responsible for scheduling internal team meetings, preparing agendas, and producing minutes when required.
  • Additionally, you will handle conference registrations, document formatting, bookkeeping, billing, and invoicing.
  • Renewal of compliance documents, FICA process administration, and working closely with auditors and accountants are also part of the job.
  • Providing administrative support to a high-performing legal team requires proactive and detail-oriented individuals.

Experience and Qualification Requirements:

  • A diploma or certificate in office administration or paralegal studies is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a legal environment is required, with previous law firm experience being advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AJS is an added advantage.

Estimated Salary Range:

R 300,000 - R 450,000 per annum, depending on experience.
