Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at The Legends Agency. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions that meet their expectations.

About the Job:

This is a full-time position based in Retreat, offering a competitive salary of R 13,500 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers at the sales counter, providing them with product information and advice on suitable products for their needs.
  • Sales Transactions: Process customer orders, issue invoices, and handle cash or card payments accurately.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a good understanding of our range of products (poles, timber, fencing, garden furniture, etc.) and be able to confidently explain their features, benefits, and uses to customers.
  • Stock Management: Assist with stock checks and ensure products are well displayed and available for sale.
  • Customer Queries and Follow-up: Handle customer inquiries and, when necessary, follow up on orders or specific product requests.
  • Maintain Store Cleanliness and Presentation: Ensure the sales counter and surrounding area are clean, organized, and well-presented to customers.
  • Support Team Members: Collaborate with other team members and support the branch with administrative tasks, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the timber industry is required.
  • Education: Matric qualification is necessary.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good customer service orientation, basic numerical skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Personal Attributes: Positive attitude, willingness to learn, professional demeanor, reliability, punctuality, and adaptability.
