About the Role:

This Administrative and Financial Coordinator role is critical to the success of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our CHOC KWAZULU NATAL office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:
  2. Manage office administration, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  3. Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other records as required.
  4. Coordinate logistics for events and meetings.
  5. Manage inventory and stock control.
  6. Financial Management:
  7. Process transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  8. Prepare and reconcile financial reports.
  9. Manage budgets and forecasting.
  10. Communication and Relationship Building:
  11. Communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
  12. BUILD strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and supporters.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 qualification with accounting and bookkeeping subjects.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in administration and bookkeeping, preferably in the NGO sector.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database systems (CRM).
  • A valid South African driver's license is essential.
