About the Job

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical reports and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation of life insurance claims, including detailed analysis of policy documents and medical reports
  • Communication with clients, brokers, and other relevant parties regarding claim status and decisions
  • Collaboration with medical professionals to ensure accurate assessment of medical conditions
  • Adherence to regulatory requirements and maintenance of accurate records

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience as a Life Assessor or similar role
  • FAIS certification (Further Education and Training Certificate – FETC – IN Short Term Insurance, Long Term Insurance, or Retail Insurance)
  • RE5 qualification
  • Prior work experience in long term insurance services, financial services, or an insurance company would be advantageous
  • A medical qualification would be an asset
