Long-Term Insurance Career Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Long-Term Insurance Consultant to join our team at Headhunters. You will work closely with our clients to provide expert advice on insurance needs and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and identify Life and Short-Term Insurance opportunities within client bases.
  • Prepare comprehensive advice documents for presentation to clients.
  • Provide specialist advice on Life Insurance needs, including Estate Planning and Business Assurance.
  • Implement agreed solutions and manage underwriting requirements.
  • Review clients' cover according to internal procedures.

You will also be responsible for acquiring short-term insurance leads from our financial planning partners and communicating with clients to understand their needs.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Broker Consultant or Life Insurance Agent.
  • Ability to function at a strategic level while fulfilling operational responsibilities.
  • Meet FAIS honesty, integrity, and good standing requirements.
  • Meet FAIS minimum experience requirements in respect of long-term insurance products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to take the initiative.
  • Emotional resilience.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification (bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or investments).
