Job Description

**Job Title:** Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator to join our team at HR Genie. As a critical member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 environments across multiple businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **User Account Management:** Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within Microsoft 365 to maintain data integrity and access control.
  • **Mailbox and Email Security:** Configure and maintain mailboxes, enforce email security protocols, and oversee Exchange Online administration.
  • **Compliance and Security:** Implement and manage compliance features such as data loss prevention (DLP) and retention policies to meet regulatory requirements and safeguard sensitive information.
  • **Collaboration and Document Management:** Administer SharePoint Online, including site creation, configuration, and management, to facilitate collaboration and document management across diverse business units.
  • **Microsoft Teams Deployment and Management:** Lead the deployment and management of Microsoft Teams, including team creation, policy configuration, and integration with other Microsoft 365 services.
  • **Monitoring and Troubleshooting:** Utilize advanced tools and techniques to monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services and connectivity issues, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • **Vendor Integration:** Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to integrate third-party services and applications with the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring seamless interoperability and enhancing the platform's capabilities.
  • **COPILOT Management:** Oversee all aspects of COPILOT, including license management, training, and configuration, to maximize user productivity and efficiency.
  • **Subscription and License Management:** Handle subscriptions and effectively assign licenses and products to users, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • **Email Gateway and Archiving Solutions:** Experience with email gateway and archiving solutions, such as Mimecast, to enhance email security and compliance measures.
  • **Microsoft Edge and Edge Policies:** Knowledge of Microsoft Edge and Edge Policies to enforce browser security and compliance standards.
  • **Microsoft Loop and Loop Workspaces:** Familiarity with Microsoft Loop and Loop workspaces to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • **Microsoft 365 Apps Administration:** Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Apps admin center to efficiently manage and administer Microsoft 365 applications.
  • **Microsoft 365 Tools and Solutions:** Knowledge of these Microsoft 365 tools to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  • **Microsoft 365 Backup Solutions:** Experience in implementing and managing Microsoft 365 backup solutions to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery preparedness.
  • **Audit Logs and Reporting:** Utilize audit logs and reporting tools to provide insights and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • **Technical Support and Training:** Provide technical support to users and conduct training sessions on Microsoft 365 applications to promote user adoption and proficiency.
  • **Governance and Security Administration:** Develop governance documentation, enforce application ownership, and collaborate on security administration with the information security team to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
  • **Project Management:** Proven project management skills with experience leading implementations of new technologies, driving adoption, and managing transitions to ensure successful integration and user acceptance.
  • **Migration Strategies:** Develop and execute migration strategies for moving data and services to Microsoft 365, including mailbox migrations, data migrations, and tenant-to-tenant migrations.
Requirements:
  • **Education:** Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience highly advantageous.
  • **Certifications:** Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
  • **Experience:** Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or similar role, managing complex Microsoft 365 environments for multiple businesses.
  • **Microsoft 365 Expertise:** Comprehensive understanding and proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft 365, including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, compliance features, security administration, and the mobile application suite.
