About the Role:

DataFin is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the ITRIX business as Head of ITRIX. This is a pivotal role that requires strategic leadership and vision to drive the success and growth of our ETF business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop effective strategies that promote ETF products and expand market share.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key institutional clients, Financial Advisors, DFMs, and other stakeholders.
  3. Drive the development and launch of innovative ETF/AMETF products that meet market demands and regulatory requirements.
  4. Oversee the ongoing management and optimization of the existing ETF/AMETF product suite.
  5. Monitor financial performance against targets and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
  6. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision making.
  7. Manage relationships with other areas of business to ensure smooth distribution of ITRIX products.
  8. Contribute to the development of an overall strategy as part of the Executive Management team.

Requirements:

  1. Proven senior management experience in the Financial Services industry – at least 8 years' experience – with prior involvement in product development and strategy development in the Retail market.
  2. Proven experience in distribution of retail products through Financial Advisors with established relationships in the market.
  3. Understanding of ETFs is a preference, but Retail Business Development takes priority.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  5. Customer-service oriented mindset.
  6. Ability to travel throughout South Africa, if based in Cape Town.
