Job Summary:
As a Strategic Business Leader at Marriott International, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest satisfaction, employee engagement, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation. This is a key leadership position that requires strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth, improve guest satisfaction, and increase market share
- Lead and manage a team of department heads to ensure seamless hotel operations and delivery of exceptional guest experiences
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, stakeholders, and local community leaders to promote the hotel's brand and reputation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market research to inform business decisions and drive innovation
Requirements:
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field; 8 years' experience in hotel operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
- OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field; 6 years' experience in hotel operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
- Proven track record of success in hotel operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with owners, stakeholders, and local community leaders
