  • Able to foster strong industry and regulatory relationships.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about transformational education and has a strong business acumen to align academic strategies with commercial goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage CHE accreditation, audits, and compliance with regulatory bodies.
  2. Drive academic excellence, programme development, and curriculum innovation.
  3. Ensure alignment between academic strategy and commercial viability.
  4. Foster strong industry and regulatory relationships.
  5. Lead academic staff, research, and thought leadership initiatives.
  6. Oversee quality assurance, governance, and institutional effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience at a recognised university (public or private institutions).
  • Extensive knowledge of South African higher education policies, CHE accreditation, and audits.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align academic strategies with commercial goals.
  • A passion for transformational education and innovation.
  • A relevant doctoral qualification (preferred).
