Position Overview
Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced AC Service Sales Specialist to join our team in Southern Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, promoting upgrades and value-added solutions, and establishing long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and secure profit for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
- Utilize the Service database to identify sales opportunities and develop new market opportunities.
- Generate sales leads, develop new market opportunities, and take a one-Hitachi approach to leverage other colleagues' portfolios.
- Establish long-term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and demonstrating technical knowledge.
- Sell the entire service AC product portfolio to expand Hitachi Energy's footprint in designated areas.
- Act as a marketer/salesperson during marketing activities and translate customer needs into relevant Hitachi Energy Service offerings.
- Contribute to risk assessments related to price and quality and ensure technical reliability, safety, and cost-effective solutions.
