In this role, you will be instrumental in broadening the company's market footprint and driving sales advancement within the solar sector. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business prospects.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with retail clients.
  • Delivering technical sales expertise.
  • Traveling within South Africa and other African nations to engage with clients and partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in solar energy are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in technical sales.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Demonstrated success in retail sales and business development.
  • Technical sales experience with a solid understanding of solar energy products and systems.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within South Africa and other African regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the retail and commercial sectors.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to comprehend customer needs and industry trends.
  • Provide technical sales support, including product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about the latest solar energy products and technologies.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to customers regarding product selection and installation.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Explore and establish new markets within Africa, focusing on regions with significant solar energy potential.
  • Develop and maintain a network of distributors and resellers.
