Job Purpose:

The Assistant Payroll Manager supports the accurate and timely processing of payroll-related financial transactions. The role works closely with payroll and finance teams to ensure payroll data is correctly recorded, reconciled, and reported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reconciling payroll accounts with the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of payroll transactions.
  • Support the payroll team in ensuring correct payroll processing, including calculating wages, bonuses, deductions, and taxes.
  • Participate in internal and external audits by providing relevant payroll accounting documentation and explanations.
