The Role

As an Events Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for working hand-in-hand with clients to turn their visions into reality. Your role is all about ensuring each detail is thoughtfully planned, organized, and executed with care.

You will be the friendly face clients turn to, guiding them through the process and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Manager in driving sales and developing the Banqueting, Events, Groups, and Food & Beverage products and offerings.
  2. Deliver operational objectives and assist clients and groups with all event/accommodation/activity and tailored requirements.
  3. Ensure that each event is seamlessly managed, meets the high standards of the hotel, and delivers an exceptional experience for guests.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or Equivalent
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand English at a professional level
  • Computer literate level 2 minimum experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Related Events Tertiary qualification essential
  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or Project Management (advantageous)
  • 3 to 5 years in similar industry experience
