Job Description

As a Senior Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of technical operations and maintenance activities across various sites. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair Management: Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance and repair activities to ensure the optimal functioning of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the management of site documentation, including drawings and risk assessments, to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and control costs associated with maintenance and repair activities.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor upkeep staff, allocating tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Additionally, your experience should include at least 5 years of proven track record in managing technical projects, with expertise in electrical hardware and software design, development, implementation, and commissioning. Familiarity with ship system maintenance and repairs is also advantageous.
