Overview

Nedbank is seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our sales team. As a Sales Team Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing branch/market sales objectives, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive market share growth and ensure client acquisition, retention, and cross-selling of bank products.
  • Support business strategy, objectives, and values.
  • Manage sales leads efficiently and achieve entrenched sales objectives and targets.
  • Ensure branch/market operational effectiveness and drive needs-based selling through staff.
  • Identify and communicate sale opportunities and collaborate with sales and service teams.
  • Monitor community growth and business profitability reports.
  • Manage controllable expenses and staff resources.

Client Engagement

  • Ensure best-rated client service and satisfaction.
  • Deliver world-class service through effective use of client experience measurement tools.
  • Entice clients to digital and self-service channels.

Risk & Operations

  • Ensure compliance to operational and legislative requirements.
  • Achieve minimum performance on Risk & Compliance audits.

Lead

  • Ensure team is trained and compliant.
  • Inspire the use of learning tools and identify development and growth opportunities.
  • Engage team on performance through regular performance discussions.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Diploma

Preferred Qualification

An approved FAIS qualification (i.e. Banking or Sales)

Minimum Experience Level

1-2 years
Sales and service banking experience

Salary: R800,000 - R1,200,000 per annum
