Business Development Officer

The successful sales person will be in charge of managing Hexing Electric South Africa's relationships with its customers. They are in charge of developing new markets, new customers, building long-term relationships with a group of customers, and generally staying with customers for the length of their relationship with the company.
The goal is to keep clients or accounts as long as possible. They will be in charge of finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish new business and promote Renewable Energy.
- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
- Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
- Liaise between the customer and internal teams.
- Grade 12
- Must have a driver's license and own a vehicle
- Need to work from the office at least one day a week, as well as during training sessions
- Expectation to be on the road seeing clients on the days not in the office
- Must be a hunter of new business; an existing database will be beneficial
- Minimum 2 years of solar experience
- Proven track record
- Must be able to travel
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to face challenges
